Marion marred another 6-1-1 season.
The NCO championship eluded the A's when a holding penalty nullified
Leo Strang's tying extra point against the Presidents. The all-league
backfield included the number two NCO scorer Bob Puglisi, Bob
Dove, and Leo Strang, who was, also, selected 1st team All-Ohio.
Glenn Martin and Bob Picking were selected all-NCO linemen. Bob
Dove's punt from end zone to end zone against Galion is an AHS
record. |
