Capt. and all-NCO quarterback Paul "Beanie"
Johnson led Coach Sid Boyd's only football team to a 5th place
finish in a tight NCO race. He scored 4 of the 5 touchdowns in
league games and passed for the 5th one in the Galion win. His
88-yard run against Medina was the longest play of the season.
However, on the final play of the season on 4th down against Mansfield
he was stopped inside the one-yard line short of victory. |
