After 16 years as an assistant coach Ed Bush became AHS's 18th head coach. He faced a 10-game schedule with only ten lettermen in a rebuilding year. The tenacious Arrows were only out of the two Mansfield games. The most dramatic play of the season was Keith Imhoff's 41-yard HB pass to Mike Casey which set up the only win against Wooster. Tim Thomas led the team with 484 yards rushing and 26 points. Bob Crego on offense and Matt Call on defense were the top linemen. Keith Imhoff was the MVP.
