The CCC string ended as Madison, Dover, and New Philly shared the crown, while the Arrows finished fifth. Madison ended the undefeated streak at Community Stadium, also. Roger LaRue salvaged a winning season with a field goal against Mt. Vernon. Phil Hawk was the MVP, and banquet awards went to linemen Denny Smalley and Bill Ihrig, plus backs Joe Shideler and Denny Humrichouser.
