Regional Champs! Final Four!

The 101st AHS team thrilled Arrow Nation with 12 wins, and a second OCC championship including dramatic come from behind wins against Wooster and Lexington, plus three playoff wins for a Regional title. The Arrows made it to the Final Four, but lost to Cincinnati Anderson, who won the Division II State championship.

QB Taylor Housewright, the Division II AP Player of the Year, led the record setting year. He accounted for 50 touchdowns (14 runs and 36 passes) and 4346 yards of offense (919 rushing and 3528 passing). Anthony Fairhurst had a season record 77 catches, and Gregg Berkshire made all 57 extra points. Coach Scott Valentine in his sixth season became the all-time winningest AHS football coach with 50 wins.

The Arrows piled up the post-season awards with 15 all-OCC players, and 5 All-Ohio recognitions: Taylor Housewright on first-team and special mentions for Gregg Berkshire, Anthony Fairhurst, Cody Fast, and Logan Kerr. At the gridiron banquet awards when to: MVP Taylor Housewright, offensive line (Robert Guliano), defensive line (Cody Fast and Nick Helms), defensive back (Tyler McFarlin and Logan Kerr) and special teams (Gregg Berkshire). Also, special coaches awards went to: Troy Stauffer, Jed Roepke, Nate Cooper, and Anthony Fairhurst on offense, and Justin Stewart, Alex Hill, Dan Hartnett, and Anthony Deppen on defense.
