One of the all-time great Ashland football team was undefeated, plus they were never behind
all season. They shutout six opponents and only gave up two touchdown in eight games.
Paul "Spitz" Ganyard was the leading rusher and captain. Cy Winbigler and Fats Myers were considered the best tackles in The State. In the final home on the College grounds 600 fans watched their
undefeated team complete 12 straight passes. The end around was a successful play, too.
Coach Moore had every starter returning, and he vowed to play the very best opponents in the State during the 1910 season.
