A stout defense led the A's to the 3rd championship game in five years. Ken Connell, the OHC Defensive Player of the Year, had 96 tackles and established the career yardstick at 288 tackles. The MVP was Tom Crone, who was tops in blocking and second (95) in tackling. Justen Briggs, the best offensive player, had 685 yards rushing and 46 points, although only playing five games due to an injury. Art Caudill was the Most Improved, and Clell Cox won the Special teams award. It was the 1st year for the Bille Harpster Spirit award, and Ellen Saccomen and Martha Crone were the recipients.
